The National 2900 is a battery-powered ride-on floor scraper. National built it for high-speed soft goods removal and says it takes up VCT and other soft and hard goods quickly on time-sensitive jobs. This page covers the 2900 and the 2900DL, whose dual-lift front end lets the operator adjust blade angle and pitch from the seat; one manual (401878 Rev J) covers both.

Fluids and lubricants
What National specifies for this machine.
- Hydraulic oil: Texaco Rando 46 or a compatible ISO or AW #46 fluid from a brand-name manufacturer. Tank holds 6 gallons (22.7 L) total; plan on 5.5 gallons (20.8 L) at an oil change because some oil stays in the system.
