In a glance: Tapping Blocks

The Tapping Block is used to close the gaps between planks. Once a plank is put in place, a few taps against the block will tighten the gap between the boards. Tapping blocks are notched to rest against the wider piece of plank, not the tongue that rests against the floor.

Pull bars provide an invaluable tool when doing floating and for nailed and glued floors as well. Made of steel with a 90 degree angel at one end a opposing 90 degree angle at the other end that can absorb impact of a hammer  to draw the wood flooring close together in the joints.
