Sanding & Polishing Guide

Sanding sequence	1st pass 36 grit, 2nd pass 50–60 grit, final pass 120 grit
Polishing pads	Black: stripping. Green: general-purpose cleaning. Blue: light-duty cleaning. Red: polish spray buff. White: high-gloss polish.
Sanding requirement	The white polishing (fiber) pad is required at all times while sanding.
Maintenance note	Never change the bolt length on the rubber shocks and do not use shims or bushings above or below them. Verify the rubber shocks (#907) and bearing rubber cup (#911) periodically. If the machine vibrates or pulls in any direction, first check that the pad is properly seated on the vibrating plate.
