ROBERTS 1407 Engineered Wood Flooring Adhesive is an acrylic urethane adhesive designed for the installation of engineered and parquet wood flooring up to 1/2 in. thick and 5 in. wide. This solvent-free adhesive meets the strict requirements of the South Coast Air Quality Management District and may contribute one LEED point for "Low-Emitting Material-Adhesive and Sealant" (IEQ Credit 4.1). The 1407 holds trowel ridges for optimum wood contact, grants excellent working time, and cleans up easily with soap and water. This low VOC, environmentally friendly formulation is low odor and odorless when dry.
- For use with engineered wood planks, plain back parquet flooring and acrylic-impregnated planks up to 1/2 in. thick and 5 in. wide
- Bonds with concrete (on and above grade), APA rated plywood and acoustic cork underlayment
- For interior, direct bond installations
- Rated for heavy residential and moderate commercial traffic
- Up to 20 minutes open time, 30 minutes working time and 24 to 48 hours curing time
- Approximately 45 to 55 and 70 to 80 sq. ft. per gallon coverage for engineered wood and prefinished parquet flooring installations respectively
- Suggested for use with a 1/4 in. x 1/4 in. x 1/4 in. V-notch trowel or 1/8 in. x 1/8 in. x 1/8 in. square notch trowel, depending on installation type
- Enviro-friendly, solvent-free and LEED compliant; VOC < 2 g/L, SCAQMD Rule 1168
- Protected by GoldGuard, an antimicrobial protection system that inhibits the growth of mold, mildew and odor causing bacteria in both wet and dry adhesives
