Crain No. 780 Aluminum Drives

The Crain No. 780 Aluminum Drives are solid aluminum fasteners designed for securely anchoring tackless strip or metal moldings to hard surfaces such as concrete, tile, or stone. These nails are hammered into pre-drilled 1/8″ holes, where their semi-square bodies compress tightly against the hole walls for a firm, long-lasting hold without the need for traditional anchors.

Made from corrosion-resistant aluminum, these drives are ideal for flooring installations where wood subfloors are not available. For accurate hole preparation, use with the Crain No. 223 1/8″ Solid Carbide Drill and No. 225 1/8″ Hexagon Adaptor to ensure a precise fit and secure installation.
