Crain No. 119S 36″ Combination Edge

This 36 inch steel straight edge for carpet installation includes both a serpent edge on one side and a straight edge on the other, providing the benefits of two tools in one. The serpent edge side of the tool is used on “sculptured” type patterned carpet to produce less visible seams. The straight edge side is precision ground +/- .005″ for straightness. This provides the accuracy needed to prepare seam edges when it is necessary to cut them from the carpet’s backing.
