This interchangeable Metal Mitre die set only has an extra-thick .135" punch for mitering corner shapes in heavier cap metals, such as carpet cap or wall board cap. It can be used on any Metal Mitre handle (No. 845) to punch out the 90° notches necessary to form a corner. Adapts to the handles from the following combos: Nos. 847, 849, 851, 870.

NOTE: this punch is too thick to enter the narrow channels of laminate and vinyl cap metals. For use on aluminum cap metal only.
