Crain No. 713 #13 Open End Thimble, Medium

The No. 713 is an English #13 size (U.S.A. size #00) medium open-end sewing thimble. This size is suitable for use on a medium-sized finger. These thimbles have several features that make them useful for carpet sewing purposes. The outer surface includes a coarse grate for pushing a needle point. The open end helps the thimble stay on and exposes the fingertip for gripping and other purposes. Formed from brass, and nickel-plated. Sold by each thimble.
