This tool features a stiff gauge rustproof stainless steel blade with a comfortable hardwood handle. Mainly used while carpet stretching to hook the carpet to the tackless strip. Blade is 10-1/4" wide and is available both notched (No. 485) and unnotched. Do you believe it. It has no teeth and its still called a spreader.
