MR-721 Two Part Solvent Free Urethane Adhesive

$85.57

Mannington MR-721 is a two-part solvent-free epoxy adhesive and the standard Mannington rubber tile adhesive for heavy-duty foot and vehicle traffic applications. Mixed from equal parts A and B, it creates a strong, flexible bond on both concrete and wood subfloors above, on, or below grade, with high water resistance to surface flooding. Suitable for ColorFields rubber tile and sheet, rubber tile, and rubber or vinyl stair treads. Sold as a two-part 1 gallon package (Mat # 124114).

Pot life warning — 15 to 20 minutes: Once Parts A and B are mixed, working time is only 15–20 minutes at 72°F — significantly shorter than other two-part adhesives in this line. Mix only what you can spread and cover within that window. Pour the entire mixed contents onto the subfloor immediately after mixing to slow curing. Do not mix in the can and leave it sitting.
Hazard warning — Part B: Part B causes severe skin burns and serious eye damage on contact, and is toxic to aquatic life. Full PPE including chemical-resistant gloves, eye protection, and protective clothing is required. Obtain and review the SDS for both components before use. Do not use without adequate ventilation.

MR-721 vs MR-725: Both are two-part adhesives for the same flooring types. Key differences — MR-721 has a much shorter pot life (15–20 min vs 45–50 min) and cannot be used over cut-back adhesive residue. MR-725 handles cut-back residue and lower temperatures (down to 50°F). If your job site has cut-back residue or you need more working time, MR-725 is the better choice.
