Crain No. 580 Aluminum Drives

The Crain No. 580 Aluminum Drives are solid aluminum fasteners designed for securing tackless strip or metal moldings to hard surfaces such as concrete, tile, or stone. Each drive is hammered into a pre-drilled 1/8″ hole, where its semi-square body compresses tightly against the walls for a secure, lasting hold without the need for traditional anchors or screws.

These lightweight, corrosion-resistant drives are ideal for flooring installations over dense subfloors where nailing is difficult or impractical. For best results, use with Crain No. 223 1/8″ Solid Carbide Drill and No. 225 1/8″ Hexagon Adaptor to pre-drill holes for clean, accurate placement.
