The 2" wide x 100' long fiberglass mesh tape is placed into the troweled floor glue to secure the carpet as the glue passes through the exposed outer edges of the mesh into the carpet backing. A 7/8" wide polyethylene coated paper blocker tape is adhered to and centered on the 2" wide fiberglass mesh tape. This 7/8" wide blocker prevents floor glue from contaminating the carpet edges that are to be seamed with the hot glue. Can also be used with the Cold Glue 2® Applicator System

Optional Glue Sticks — Our “440 Series” glue is included as 18 each 10" long sticks, sufficient for the 100' long roll of fiberglass tape. This glue has the proper open time to allow setting and rolling the seam and the glue remains flexible after cooling.
