A hand held tool holding a replaceable razor blade designed to cut straight allowing two separate pieces of carpet to blend after joining together with either a seaming iron & seaming tape or adhesive applied directly to the substrate.

The shape of a pen with a dull point on one side, the other is the shape of a flat screw driver. By pushing along with the length of the broadloom, you can achieve a separation in the rows of the pile of the carpet. This will allow for the proper seam with little visibility.
